The Kaua‘i Academy of Creative Artists announces a drawing contest for kindergarten through 8th grade students.
Young artists should capture the theme, “A Peaceful Moment” in their 5-inch-by-5-inch pencil and ink drawing on white paper.
The KACA board of directors will judge the artwork on creativity, clarity and use of theme.
The winner will receive 50 percent off tuition for one three-week session during the KACA’s summer program. The winner’s drawing will appear on the cover of the 2005 brochure.
To enter, write the student’s first and last name, address, phone number, grade, age, school and parent/caregiver names on the back of the drawing and send to: KACA/Art Contest, P.O. Box 481, Lihu‘e, HI 96766. Drawings must be post-marked by March 1, and they become property of KACA.
