Congressman Ed Case, D-Hawai‘i, 2nd District is heading to Kaua‘i for a one-day series of town meeting to mark the start of the 109th Congress.
Case is scheduled to be on Kaua‘i Sunday, February 19. His first stop is the ‘Ele‘ele School Cafeteria from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a stop at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Cafeteria in Puhi from 2 to 3 p.m., with a final meeting at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
“We’ve just completed the first week of hearings on the President’s budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2006, and I want to resume the Talk Stories to report back to the people of Hawai‘i on those hearings and other issues facing our state and nation,” said Case who is now a member of the House Budget Committee.
Case received his appointment to the House Budget Committee earlier this month in Washington D.C.
