Former University of Hawai‘i defensive standout and current San Francisco 49ers linebacker Jeff Ulbrich, along with other NFL stars will be at Vidinha Stadium Thursday at 9:30 a.m., to conduct youth training clinics.
This is the third consecutive year that the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA) and the NFL are teaming up for athletic and cheerleading sessions for boys and girls ages 9-18.
This will be a rare opportunity to learn tips and to interact with NFL players and cheerleaders for Kaua‘i’s youngsters.
Clinics will also be held on O‘ahu, Maui, and the Big Island and is expected to reach more than 3,000 youths throughout the state by Pro Bowl game day, Sunday, Feb. 13.
NFL players scheduled to appear besides Ulbrich are Josh McCown (Arizona Cardinals), Earl Little (Cleveland Browns), Zack Crockett (Oakland Raiders), Chris Naeole (Jacksonville Jaguars), Ma‘ake Kemoeatu (Baltimore Ravens), Terrell Buckley (New York Jets), Fred Mc Crary (New England Patriots), and Cedrick Wilson (San Francisco 49ers).
NFL cheerleaders scheduled to participate in the clinic include Kimberly Angelich (San Francisco 49ers), Cyrina Ligh (Oakland Raiders), Katelyn Bobrow (San Diego Chargers), and Briget Steckler (Denver Broncos).
