Princeville Resort receives 2005 AAA Four Diamond Award
Officials at the Princeville Resort received the American Automobile Association (AAA) 2005 Four Diamond Award, one of only 14 hotels in Hawai‘i to receive the honor.
The Four Diamond recognition is defined by AAA leaders as bestowed on properties that meet or exceed the following description: These establishments are upscale in all areas. Accommodations are progressively more refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect an obvious enhanced level of quality throughout. Hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”
To be considered for AAA rating and approval, lodgings must undergo a thorough inspection by one of AAA’s 65 fulltime, trained, professional evaluators. AAA professionals evaluated more than 55,000 properties for their 2005 TourBooks.
“We are honored to be among an elite group of hotels in Hawai‘i to receive this award,” said Kelly Hoen, general manager. “Our motto, ‘we make everything we do match the view, with aloha,’ truly reflects our commitment to the highest quality of service,” she said. “It has been wonderful to be recognized with this award for the past 11 years.”
