HONOLULU — Gov. Linda Lingle wants to make Richard Thomas Bissen Jr., the interim director of the state Department of Public Safety, a Circuit Court judge on Maui.
Lingle also announced Monday that she has named Elizabeth Ann Strance to the Big Island Circuit Court.
Both appointments are subject to confirmation by the state Senate.
