If the Menehune softball team plans to travel to O‘ahu for the state tournament, they’ll have to win at least one game today against the Red Raiders, who are sitting pretty at 7-0.
Waimea and Kaua‘i battle in a double dip starting at 10 a.m. at Isenberg Park.
Meanwhile, KIF soccer has switched sites and instead of playing at Vidinha today, the games will take place at Hanapepe Stadium, with the action starting at 10 a.m.
The boys varsity matchup between Kaua‘i and Waimea is a big one with both teams tied at the top with seven points each.
For the girls, Kaua‘i needs to win to keep pace with Kapa‘a, but the ever-hungry Waimea squad could play spoiler and take its first win of the season at the hands of the Red Raiders.
