Gusty winds, chilly north winds and big North Shore surf are all signs that wintertime is around the corner on Kaua‘i.
A wind advisory was issued for Kaua‘i through today by the National Weather Service, along with a high surf advisory for north facing shores.
Low coastal temperatures were expected to hit the high 50s last night.
Today it’s expected to be partly cloudy with isolated showers, and windy, with highs between 69 and 75. East winds are expected by Saturday and should bring some warming.
