Members of the U.S. Navy League Kauai Council are trying to locate any survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.
If there are any residents of Kaua‘i who were in the military at that time and survived the attack, league members would like to get in touch with them, they said.
If there are spouses of deceased survivors, league members also wish to talk with them. They can call league president Al Moe at 651-6592 and leave a message, and he will return their call as soon as possible. The council is having a dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at The Terrace Restaurant at Kauai Lagoons, and members would like to honor those survivors.
All league members are invited to attend, and guests are also welcome.
The price is $25 per person. Reservations may be made by calling Patti Pantone at 332-9005 by Friday, Dec. 3.
