Priscilla Mae Delos Reyes Gummerus of Hanama‘ulu, died Sept. 23, 2004, at Queen’s Medical Center at the age of 50.
Born Nov. 10, 1953, in Lihu‘e, she was employed by Tropical Burger.
Preceded in death by her son: John Phillip Gummerus and her mother Abelina Delos Reyes, she is survived by three suns: Dustin (Kim) Gummerus of Hanapepe, Donovan (Monica) Gummerus of San Diego and Chad Gummerus of Hanama‘ulu; one daughter: Cathryn (Burke) Gummerus of Nevada; her father: Felipe Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu; six brothers: Philip Delos Reyes of Lihu‘e, Kenneth Delos Reyes of Puhi, Bobby Delos Reyes of Puhi, Roland Delos Reyes of Florida, Jason Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu, Samuel Delos Reyes of Honolulu; two sisters: Kathleen Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu and Janice (Raynard) Ellis of Hanapepe; three grandchildren: Tystin Kaikoa, Kierstin Kailani Abelina, and Jaden Kai Gummerus, numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a at 9 a.m. Services at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Sandy “Big One” J. Pacheco of ‘Oma‘o, died at Straub Hospital on Sept. 22, 2004 at the age of 53.
Born in Lihu‘e, on Dec. 28, 1950, he was a private contractor with Taba Construction Co., LLC. Preceded in death by his father, Sandalio T. Pacheco and two sisters, Jeanette Pacheco and Mary Ellen Ulii, he is survived by three sons, Cilio (Tasha) Pacheco of Kaua‘i, Tyrel Pacheco of Alaska and Lenny (Florene) Abad of New Mexico; daughter Camie K. Abad of Maui; eight grandchildren; mother, Lucy Vales Pacheco; brother, Gerald (Veronica) Pacheco; sister Joyce (David) Okinaka. Friends may visit with the family from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel; service officiated by Pastor Harold Kilborn will begin at 10 a.m. Followed by burial at Koloa Public cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
