The first game of the day saw the Koloa Packers Junior Pee Wee’s State Division 11 Champions and third place division 11 National Champions taking on the Hanapepe Junior Pee Wee’s Colts, the second place Island champs.
Scoring by Koloa started with a fumble recovery in the end zone by Chyson Goias, which led to a touchdown for the Packers. The extra point wasn’t good, so the score in the third quarter was Koloa 6 and Hanapepe, yet to score.
A score by Kalei Fujita of the Packers on a three yard run made the score, Koloa 12 and Hanapepe no score. Quarterback Isaac Tehero made the extra point on a quarterback keeper. The score at this point was Koloa Packers 13 and Hanapepe was unable to score. The final score was the Koloa Packers 13 and Hanapepe 0.
Midgets: Kapa‘a 0, Lihu‘e 14
Scoring in the second quarter was Palaku Yasay of the Lihu‘e Patriots, but the extra point kick failed and the score was Lihu‘e 6 and Kapa‘a nothing. The Eagle defense held the Patriots to six points.
At the end of the third quarter Porto Matthews of the Patriots scored on a run and the extra point was good making the score fourteen 14 for the Patriots and the Kapa‘a Eagles were unable to score. The game ended with the score Kapa‘a unable to score and the Lihu‘e Patriots 14.

The first quarter was scoreless between the Patriots and Eagles; the ball traveled between the 30 yard lines, without breaking the plane of the goal line. The second quarter also saw a defensive battle between the 30 yard lines.
The game went on between the 30 yard lines, with neither team being able to score a touchdown, both squads came close, but no brass ring. The game ended in a scoreless tie.
PW: Lihu‘e 32, Kapa‘a 0
The first touchdown of the game came on a forty-seven yard run by Canaan Bernard of the Lihu‘e Patriots and the extra point was kicked by Taran Tani making the score Lihu‘e 8, Kapa‘a Eagles zero.
Defensive plays by Kapa‘a’s BJ Aiwohi, CIJ Estenzo kept Kapa‘a in the game. Scoring from 41 yards out was Taran Tani of the Lihu‘e Patriots, Tani also kicked the extra point, which was good making the score Lihu‘e 16 and Kapa‘a zero. This score came with 1:10 in the first quarter.
With 7:50 in the second quarter, Canaan Bernard scored on a fifteen yard run for Lihu‘e, as the extra point was kicked by Taran Tani to make the score 24-0 in favor of the Patriots.
A touchdown in the fourth quarter with 5:35, by Bernard, who went in from 25 yards out gave Lihu‘e the huge lead. The extra point was kicked by Tani making the score, 32-0 with Lihu‘e on top.
Sept. 19 Games
The first game of the day saw the Koloa Rams play the Northshore Na Ali‘i Pee Wee’s. The Koloa Rams defeated the Na Ali‘i by a score of 28 to 7.
The scoring started with a 30 yard run by Torry Santiago of Koloa with 9:30 in the second quarter, as the extra point was kicked by Ross Ozaki, making the score 8-0.
Brandon Scovel ran 45 yards for the second score and the extra point by Ozaki was good making the score Koloa 16 and Na Ali‘i 0.
The next score came on a run by Kaulana Wa‘alani-Arroyo who took the ball in on a 35 yard run, but extra point was no good and time had expired on the clock, which ended the half.
At this time the score stood at Koloa 22 Northshore 0.
The fourth score came in the closing minutes of the game with a 23 yard run by Waalani-Arroyo. The extra point failed making the score Koloa 28 and Northshore 0.
In the final seconds of the game, the Na Ali‘i scored on a ten yard run by Jonah Enrique who also ran in the extra point making the score 28-7 in favor of Koloa.
JPW: Kekaha 37, Northshore 0
The first score of this Junior Pee Wee contest came in the first quarter with 3:23 on the clock, on a two yard ran by Kaimana Perreira-Alquiza, but the extra point attempt failed making the score Kekaha Panthers 6 Northshore Na Ali‘i 0.
The second score by the Panthers came on a second run by Perreira-Alquiza who took the ball in on a five yard run with 8:44 left in the second quarter, the extra point was run in by Alika Emayo making the score Kekaha Panthers 13 and the Northshore Na Ali‘i 0.
The third touchdown was scored by Emayo on a Punt return; the extra point failed making the score at the end of the first half, Kekaha 19 and Northshore 0.
On the kick return at the start of the third quarter, a fifty-eight yard return TD by Paul Udarbe made the score 25-0, as the extra point attempt failed.
Udarbe scored on a 32 yard ran, as the extra point failed. The final score came on a pass interception by Tyler Remata who ran the interception in for the final score of the game.
The Northshore Na Ali‘i failed to stop the running of the Panthers.
Midget: Kekaha 41, Northshore 0
The scoring started with the kick-off to #30 of the Kekaha Chargers who took the kick and raced 55 yards into the end zone, with 9:46 on the clock.
The extra point was kicked by Allen Pancho making the score 8-0 in favor of Kekaha.
The next score was by Kylan Gandia of Kekaha, with the extra point kicked by Pancho making the score Kekaha 14 and Na Ali‘i unable to score.
The first quarter ended with the score 14-0, Kekaha.
Wesley Schmidt scored on a five yard run, but the extra point by Pancho failed, as the score remained Kekaha 20, Northshore Na Ali‘i unable to score.
Reyn Lazaro made the touchdown to seal the game, as the extra point by Kailan Malama was good, making the score Kekaha 28 and Northshore 0. At this pont the game clock went to a running clock.
A 51 yard touchdown run by Kylan Gandia put the score at 34-0, with the extra point kicked failing to go through the uprights by Kailan Malama.
Jayarld Watanabe scored on a 7 yard run and the extra point was good. The score ended up Kekaha 41, Northshore 0.
