Cecelia Napuanani Kanahele of Makaweli, died Aug. 15, 2004, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
Born July 10, 1935, in Hawai‘i, she was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband; Leonard Kanahele, Sr.; five sons: Leonard (Lavonne) Kanahele, Jr., Danny (Linda) Kanahele, Gary (Susan) Kaohelaulii, Wally (Laurice) Kawaihalau, Johnny (Lacey) Kanahele; two daughters: Cecelia (Jim) Beniamina and Caryn (Anthony) Bernaldes; hanai children: Dean Martin, Leticia Kanahele, Evan Kanahele, Jason Beniamina and Jenee Kanahele; one sister: Kahala Kanahele; one brother: Keoki (Kuulei) Keamoai; 26 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 27, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Waimea Hawaiian Church from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. where services will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Marcela Bisarra of Kekaha died Aug. 23, 2004, at Straub Hospital at the age of 78.
Born Feb. 1, 1926, in the Philippines, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her son, Frederico Bisarra, she is survived by her husband: Francisco Bisarra, six sons: Alfred (Nida) Bisarra, Francisco (Fangie) Bisarra, Jr., Franklin (Anita) Bisarra, Salvador (Renee) Bisarra, Arsenio (Estrella) Bisarra, Gavino (Birgit) Bisarra; four daughters: Imelba “Amy” (David) Fernandes, Reveline (Rey) Dequist, Gloria (Amado) Cortez, and Rosemarie (Mike) Rodriguez; two brothers: Quirino Santiago and Rodrigo Santiago; two sisters: Maria Galiza and Inocencia Pilla; 27 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Friday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.. Cremation will follow.
