What happened to our island? I have been living here since 1975 and I have never in all those years had my car broken into or anything I owned stolen. I have seen this island grow and change and I am sad to see the latest developments of crime and lack of concern for others. I guess I think everyone thinks like me but I am obviously very wrong about that.
I am and have been a massage therapist and trainer for 30 years I have had a massage table in my car for out call service on a regular basis. Tuesday the 17th my table was stolen out of my car at the beach. The person who took it hit another car as well removing the stereo as nothing else of value was in the car.
That table to the thief means another high on meth probably, but to me it was the heart of my ministry in healing to this community. I was scheduled to do a massage that night and the woman came to me since I did not have a portable table to go to her. I need my table it was very lightweight and that is necessary for me due to my own back issues and it will take months to get another one like it made as the company is back ordered. I appeal to the community to help me locate my stolen table if possible the memories of years of work with it are irreplaceable. It is purple and about 20 pounds with a stamp on the bottom that says ultralight and the 800 number for the company. It has a black waterproof carrying case with removable wheels and a large pocket with a holster. This table brand is very rare.
