William J. “Bill” Lane
William J. “Bill” Lane of Mililani, formerly of Kaua‘i, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Kaiser Foundation Hospital at the age of 71.
Born Sept. 20, 1932 in Los Angeles, Calif., he was a retired sergeant major with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Gloriana “Nani” Lane; sons, Michael Lane and William H. Lane of California; daughters, Lucille Waiwaiole of Ewa Beach, O‘ahu, Anela (Jonathan) Kael of California; Billie Kay (Robert) Sheldon of Mililani, O‘ahu, Edwina Malia (Don) Kimura of Wailua, Kendra Leinani Au, Ilima (Pat) Lopez of Keapana, and Shawn (Cookie) Perreira of Wailua; 20 grandchildren including Feather, Joseph and Daniel Lane, Jayden Kael, Regan, Randi, and Ralna Sheldon, Niko and Waiko Kimura, Jayci, Rayna, and Nelson Au, Kaleo, Kai, Kaimi, Kysen, Jenna and Jordan Lopez, and Ryan Perreira; five great grandchildren including Brenden Perreira, and Braeven Perreira; and one brother, Harrison Melville Lane.
