Kenneth Lum, Sr.
Kenneth Willliam Lum, Sr. of Kilauea, died Aug. 16, 2004, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 61.
Born July 24, 1943, in Kilauea, he was with the maintenance department at Mahelona Hospital.
He is survived by his wife: Evelyn A. Lum of Kilauea; two sons: Kenneth W. (Sheri) Lum, Jr. of Kilauea and Blane N. (Donna) Lum of Kilauea; two daughters: Jolene L. (Petro) Garces of Maui and Janel M. (Reynard) Lum-Hepa of Maui; three brothers: Albert J. (Loretta) Lum of Honolulu, Matthew J. (Sandra) Lum of Hilo and Cornel M. (JoAnna) Lum of Kapa‘a; two sisters: Patricia A. (Lureto) Pangen of California and Gini Kapali of Kapa‘a; mother-in-law: Paulina M. Apilado of Kilauea; one brother-in-law: Glen J. Apilado of Kilauea and one sister-in-law: Teresita B. (Benjamin) Manuel of Colorado; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 20, at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church in Kilauea, at 9 a.m. Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
