Kaua‘i girl, and former Miss Hawai‘i USA 2003 Alicia Michioka Jones finished 1st runner up in the Aug. 5 finals of Mrs. United States 2004. The winner was Mrs. Texas- Edrienne Carpenter, who is also from Kaua‘i. Other finalists include

Other finalists include 2nd runner up-Shanna Hill of Missouri, 3rd runner up- Kirstin Snow of Pennsylvania, and 4th runner up-Jannet McCullough of Connecticut. The remaining top ten were Myda Mifflin- Arizona, Julie Graybill-Georgia, Gloria Pietsch-Illinois, Candace Yost-North Carolina, and Lisa Piepsny-Ohio.
Jones is a 1996 graduate of Kapa‘a High and a 2002 graduate of Hawai‘i Pacific University.
She holds a double bachelors degree in advertising and journalism.
She currently produces television shows and documentaries.
Jones is married to Matthew Jones, a personal fitness trainer at the Hawai‘i Athletic Club. She has held the titles of Miss Garden Isle 96, Miss Haleiwa Sea Spree 00, and Miss Hawai‘i USA 03 (top ten at Miss USA 03). She is also the first of two sisters to win a major pageant title consecutively in Hawai‘i. Her sister Justine is Miss Hawai‘i USA 2004.

In addition to her busy schedule, Jones recently announced her plans to try her hand at pageant directing as she issues a call for contestants in her all-age pageant for girls and women.
Jones said she plans to award 13 titles for this event that she says is her way of giving back and letting other women experience the things she did during her reigns.
Anticipated divisions and titles for the Nov. 2004 pageant include Baby Miss, Tiny Miss, Mini Miss, Little Miss, Petite Miss, Young Miss, Pre-Teen Miss, Jr.
Teen Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Ms. Woman.
