Angela Salud Garcia of Wailua, died Aug. 7, 2004, at Kaua‘i Care Center at the age of 91.
Born Oct. 1, 1912, in the Philippines, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband; Ismael Garcia of Wailua; three daughters: Mary Manguchei of Wailua, Pat (Marcos) Aguda of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ellen (Joe) Rosa of Lihu‘e; one son: Prudencio (Editha) Garcia of Puhi; one brother: Antonio Salud, Sr. of the Philippines; one daughter-in-law: Victoria Garcia of Hanama‘ulu; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kapaia from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation is again scheduled at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday, Aug. 19, from 8:30 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
