LIHU‘E — If you ask anyone on Kaua‘i about the game of lacrosse, most people would shrug their shoulders and say, “La what!”
However, after this week, lacrosse will at least leave an imprint and hopefully a big foot mark on Kaua‘i, as the Guilford Lacrosse team takes center stage at Vidinha Stadium in Lihu‘e for an exhibition game and two clinics.
The Connecticut team is comprised of players from middle school to high school.
The Guiford squad spent a week on O‘ahu and played exhibition games and held clinics at Kapiolani Park.
“We had a great time on O‘ahu and it was a beautiful setting with Diamond Head in the background,” head coach Ken Gilstein said.
