Kailua ‘B’ will be the first opponent of the Kawaihau Minors all-stars when they land in Kailua, O‘ahu for the Minors Division District I Tournament that starts Wednesday, June 9.
Manager Richard Rapozo said, “If we can get past our first three games, we’ll be alright.” If Kawaihau takes the Kailua ‘B’ team, they’ll go up against Kailua ‘A’ on Thursday.
Should Kawaihau secure the Div. I championship on June 15, the team will remain on O‘ahu for the Div. II tournament.
Jessilyn Artaho-Aki is the only girl on the squad made up of Geordan Gray, Duane Wakuta, Jr., Kekoa Alfiler, Conner Chandler, Vincent Simon, Earl Thronas, Jr., Rajan Baliaris, Jakey Alves, Jacob Rapozo, Austin Thronas, and Bronson Aiwohi.
In addition to Manager Rapozo, the coaches include Phillip Rapozo, Tony Rapozo, and Shelly Samio.
