County Age Group track meet this weekend
LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Recreation Agency will be sponsoring an age group Track and Field Meet this weekend at Vidinha Stadium.
Any boy or girl attending kindergarten through the ninth grade at a Kaua‘i school is eligible to participate.
Time trials and finals will take place on the same day.
Age Groups 5-6, 7-8, and 13-14 will be competing on Saturday starting at 3:30 p.m.
Age Groups 9-10, and 11-12 will be competing on Sunday starting at 1:30 p.m.
Registration will be open one hour prior to the event. Once the events start, no registrations will be accepted.
A food booth will also be open at the meet.

Kaua‘i High School volleyball signups scheduled
The Kaua‘i High School girls volleyball program announces a varsity and JV information and signup meeting that will be held on April 28 at the Kaua‘i High School Library from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
On the agenda are schedules for the tryout dates, summer scheduling, program philosophy, and a question-answer session.
Parents need to attend to understand what will be expected of them for the upcoming Kaua‘i Challenge tournament as well as the other activities planned for the summer, and the 2004-05 season.
