The largest participation in Hawai‘i in an off-road, wheeled racing event was seen recently near Port Allen on Kaua‘i, as over 100 riders took to a slippery course in Kauai’s Off Road Riders’ poker run.
Conquering over 40 miles of slick terrain and red dirt, moms, dads, uncles, aunts, keiki and grandparents whose goggles allowed them to were treated to the beauty of southwestern Kaua‘i from their mountain bikes, quads (all-terrain vehicles, or ATVs), and motorcycles.
