KSA holds ODP meeting on April 4
The Kaua‘i Soccer Association will be having an Olympic Development Program (ODP) meeting on Apr. 4 starting at 4p.m. at the Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center.
Any player that is in the player pool should attend.
Information on upcoming travel and general information on the program will be available.
PGA’s Pro-Pro Championship this weekend
The Aloha Section PGA announces the playing of the 2004 Pro-Pro Championship at the Ka‘anapali North Course on April 4-5, 2004. The Competition is a 36-hole 4-ball stroke play team event. 27 teams of 54 island professionals will play for the $14,000 purse.
The Pro Pro Championship is one of two section tournaments during the year that allow Aloha Section members, apprentices, and ATPs, earning the winning team $3,000. The Kaanapali Tournament North Course is an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design. It opened in 1962 and plays to 6,693 yards, par 71.
Mustangs, Broncos are coming
The Lihu‘e Baseball League (LBL) will be hosting the opening ceremonies for their Mustang/Bronco division on Saturday, Apr. 10 starting at 9 a.m. at the Lihu‘e County Park Main Diamond.
The first game in the Bronco division will feature the Lihu‘e Rangers taking on the Lihu‘e Reds and will follow the opening ceremonies, the first pitch going at 10:30 a.m.
In the Mustang division, the Lihu‘e Yankees will tangle with the Lihu‘e Cardinals in the first of two games, the first pitch also being thrown at 10:30 a.m.
The Lihu‘e Indians will close the day with a game against the Lihu‘e Mariners following the first game.
