NAWILIWILI – A double port call by two cruise ships on Saturday highlighted the growing number of cruise ship passengers visiting Kaua‘i.
The Holland America Line’s Statendam was in port when the Norwegian Star entered the harbor, bringing the number of tour passengers at Nawiliwili at one time to a count well over 1,000.
Some 208,123 cruise ship passengers visited Kaua‘i in 2003, and spent an average of $100 each.
