Ivy Takenaka Schurch has joined the Po‘ipu and Koloa office of RE/MAX Kauai as a real-estate agent. Born and raised on Kaua‘i, she is the daughter of Lincoln and Evelyn Takenaka of Wailua Homesteads.
She attended Mid-Pacific Institute on O‘ahu, and received her associate’s degree in accounting from Kaua‘i Community College.
She joins RE/MAX Kauai with five years of experience in the finance industry. She holds a state mortgage solicitors license, state life and health insurance sales license, and state securities sales license.
At Central Pacific Bank’s Lihu‘e branch, Schurch was a financial services officer and registered representative for sales of annuity products.
Additionally, she created monthly motivational sales programs for branch tellers, and tracked production.
As a registered representative for Prudential Insurance in Lihu‘e, she sold life insurance, mutual funds and annuities, gave seminars, and did database management.
She is the wife of Paul Schurch, owner of Paul Schurch Construction. They have two children, and reside in Kalaheo.
Her decision to join RE/MAX Kauai was based on her understanding that deciding to sell or buy a home is a big step for anyone. She is committed to making sure it’s a happy step in the right direction for all her clients.
