Trevor McCracken collected four goals and an assist as the Papaya’s Piranhas split their weekend series in the Squirt Division (11 Under) at the Kapa‘a rink.
Keaton Duncan scored the goal for the North Shore Custom Floors Flyers who dropped their contest, 5-1 to the Piranhas in the opener with Tyler Dora finishing with a pair of scores for the Dr. Burnison’s Hot Shots who triumphed over the Pihanhas, 3-2 in the second game.
Cascade Mayer contributed a goal and an assist to help the Piranhas.
The Kama‘aina Kreations Sharks and Hesse Flooring Menehunes skated to an 8-8 stalemate in the Bantam (12-14) division contest, Blake Gingerich scoring a pair of goals and ending with three assists for the Sharks.
Noa Chun and Trevor Guttman each notched three scores for the Sharks while Kaysie Ota led the Menehunes with a pair of goals and an equal number of assists, and Maegan Pablo finishing with a pair of goals.
Chad Dorman and Kristin Hesse, goalies for the Sharks and the Menehunes respectively, were noted for their outstanding play.
Garren Venzon paced the Sleeping Giants with a pair of goals and two assists with Shane Shimanuki adding three goals in their 7-4 win over the Southpaw Board Bangers.
Tyson Wakayama led the Bangers with three goals in the Midget (17 Under) division contest.
Sunday games in the Bantam and Midget divisions were rained out.
