Central Pacific Bank (CPB) has announced several promotions and a new hire. Craig H. Hashimoto has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Hashimoto’s primary responsibilities include human resources and organizational development within the Bank.

Craig H. Hashimoto has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Hashimoto’s primary responsibilities include human resources and organizational development within the Bank.
Prior to joining Central Pacific Bank in 2001, Hashimoto served as Vice President and Support Services Manager at Bank of Hawaii. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and has 21 years of banking experience.
Barbara Carvalho has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Oahu Region Manager.
In this capacity, she will oversee all of the Bank’s O‘ahu branches including its five supermarket branches.
She has been with Central Pacific Bank for 24 years and previously served as Branch Administrator and Regional Service Manager responsible for customer services and operations of all West O‘ahu and Neighbor Island branches. Working her way up through the ranks, Carvalho started her banking career as a teller.
Alvin T. Imada has been hired as Senior Vice President and Neighbor Island Region Manager.
Imada will oversee all Neighbor Island branches on Maui, Kaua‘i and the Big Island. Prior to joining Central Pacific Bank, Imada was a Vice President and District Manager of Maui County with Bank of Hawaii.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Imada graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce.
Scott Kurosawa has been promoted to Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer in the Commercial Banking Division, West team.
Kurosawa is responsible for managing and developing the Bank’s portfolio of commercial clients by assisting businesses with financing, expansion, operations and personal needs. Kurosawa has 17 years working in the banking industry and has experience in branch and retail banking.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Economics from Western Oregon University.
Naomi Masuno has been named Vice President and Business Banking Officer in the Business Banking Department. Her responsibilities include managing and growing the Bank’s portfolio of high value clients with specific emphasis on small business customers.
In this capacity, Masuno recommends appropriate account, loan and investment products and services.
She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and has more than 30 years of banking experience.
Clyde Nakaya has been promoted to Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer of the Neighbor Island commercial banking team.
Nakaya is responsible for servicing the needs of commercial clients by assisting businesses with financing, expansion, operations, loans and personal needs.
He has worked for Central Pacific Bank since 1996 and has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Nakaya, a native of Kaua‘i, graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelor’s degree in management.
Robert Stott has been promoted to Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer. Stott provides individualized attention to high-value clients, especially in the field of cash management.
He initially joined Central Pacific Bank in 1981 and has served as a Commercial Banking Officer since 2000.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry.
Stott received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elmhurst College and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
