Ichiko A. Morris of ‘Oma‘o, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Feb. 13, 2004 at the age of 74.
Born in Tokyo, Japan on Jan. 19, 1930, she was a retired interpreter with Nippon Express.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard S. Morris; two sons: Leonard (Sharon) Morris,Jr. of Hilo; and Patrick (Daniele) Morris of ‘Oma‘o; two daughters: Susan (Stephen) Perreira Jr., of Kalaheo; and Jean (Van) Warren of Hanapepe; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Nobuyoshi (Mitsuko) Abe of Tokyo; Osamu Abe of Honolulu; and Hitoshi (Miyumi) Abe of Tokyo; sister, Kyoko (Robert) Bryant of Tacoma, Wash.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Charles W. Pratus
Charles W. Pratus of Princeville died in Honolulu on Feb. 3, 2004, at the age of 88.
Born in Elizabeth, Pa. on June 27, 1915, he was a retired chief of engineering with The Country Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Lynn McCrory of Princeville; and one son Charles (Susie) Pratus Jr.; three grandchildren; two sisters: Ann Snyder of San Antonio, Texas; and Helen Cisan of Anaheim, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at Hanamaulu Restaurant & Tea House from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, with service at 4 p.m. The family suggests casual or aloha attire and that flowers be omitted.
