LIHU‘E — In an effort to provide better service for customers, Better Hearing of Hawaii has now opened an office at the Kukui Grove Center executive location.
Better Hearing opened its office in the first week of January and now has three stores throughout the state.
“We have been trying to do this for a long time,” said Gary Woodard Jr, owner and hearing instrument specialist for the company. “During the last year, I began to really work at getting a location here.”
According to Woodard Jr, many of Better Hearing’s long-time Kaua‘i customers often flew to O‘ahu for hearing aids and appointments.
“They (Kaua‘i customers) wanted us here,” said Woodard Jr. “We have always been known for our service and this was a way to take better care of our customers.”
Better Hearing has been in business since 1959. The company is a comprehensive, full service group addressing the issue of hearing loss with the use of the “latest in hearing aid technology and hearing aid accessories.”
“Better Hearing of Hawaii is dedicated to improving the quality of life through comprehensive hearing rehabilitation,” said the owner. “We spend quality time with you to identify specific difficult listening environments that are a priority to you and to determine the appropriate technology of hearing instruments that will give you ease of listening, reach your speech understanding potential, and meet our goal of Better Hearing.”
