The Kaumakani Supersonics and Lihu‘e Comets closed off their county 12 Under girls season on winning notes Tuesday night at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center, Kaumakani topping Wailua, 44-15 and the Comets soaring over Kilauea 37-8.
Sera Pascual paced Kaumakani with 10 points in game one while Alysa Carvalho finished with five points to lead Wailua.
AshLyn Ubongen closed the books with 12 points for the Comets while Monique Jure finished with three points for Kilauea.
In games played Saturday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, Kaira Kupihea chalked up four points to lead Wailua to a 12-8 win over the Westside Hornets who got four points each from J. Acaret Ipac and A. Valmoja.
Kapa‘a’s AshLyn Lee outscored Kaumakani’s Aiko Grande 17-10, but Kaumakani ended the day outgunning Kapa‘a, 44-25 in game two.
Ma‘ilika Napoleon finished with 12 points to lead the Lihu‘e comets to a 49-14 showing for Lihu‘e who got six points from Kennilee Layosa.
In the final game played Saturday, the Lihu‘e Sparks topped Kilauea 24-18.
