Justin Ramos netted a game-high 16 points to lead the Lihu‘e On Fire to a 40-15 showing over the Westside Hornets who got six points from Cole Parongao as the county’s 12U Boys Basketball league played games Tuesday night at both the Kalaheo and Kilauea Neighborhood Center.
Ramos and On Fire were at Kalaheo where Arnal Tangonan scored 13 points to lead the Kilauea Black Dragons who dropped to Waimea 2nd to None, 50-27.
Hino Kanahele netted a dozen points to lead the Waimea effort.
Joshua Largusa came up with 11 points to lead a winning effort, 49-27 over the Lihu‘e Lakers who got eight points from Devon Florence in Kilauea.
Teila Huni finished with a dozen points to lead Simao to a 30-22 win over Wailua who were led by seven points by Kausi Lomu.
