Satoru Tada
Satoru Tada of Kapa’a, died Jan. 19, 2004, in Kapa’a at the age of 95.
A bookkeeper for Tip Top Cafe & Bakery, he was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Hawai’i.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan Tsunoda, of California, and one son, Gary Tada, of Lihu’e.
Private services were held at Lihue Hongwanji Mission Church on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
Kaoru Tateishi
Kaoru Walter Tateishi, of Kalaheo, died at home on Jan. 11, 2004 at the age of 88.
Born in Lawa’i on April 9, 1915, he was a assistant manager with Hawaiian Fruit Preserving Company.
He is survived by brothers, Stanley Satoshi Tateishi of Honolulu and Hiroshi Tateishi of Kalaheo; sister, Doris Chiyomi Shimaoka of Kekaha; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were private.

Annette “Keiko” Isobe
Annette “Keiko” Moto Isobe, 48, of Kaua’i, died Jan. 24, 2004.
Born in Puunene, Maui, she was a retired Kaua’i County tax appraiser.
She is survived by her husband, John Isobe; mother, Michie Moto; sisters, Patricia Kan, Katherine Hashiro, and Sharon Takasaki. Services are at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Borthwick Mortuary in Wailuku, Maui.
