Refuse Transfer Stations located in Hanalei, Kapa’a, Lihu’e and Hanapepe, as well as the Kekaha Landfill are closed today, according to an announcement from the County of Kaua’i Public Works Department.
Island Recycling at the Kaua’i Resource Center and Puhi Metals Recycling are also closed today.
Normal operating hours for the facilities are scheduled to resume on Friday, December 26.
Residential refuse pick-up is still scheduled to take place today.
