As a Kauai resident and voter, I sat on the curb on Rice Street like thousands of others on December 6th and anxiously awaited what was to be a fine parade for 2003. As for the politicians that participated I was keenly aware of the actions of the two state senatorial candidates and my observation is as follows. One candidate’s approach seemed to be seeking the crowds support and the other candidate seem to be seeking the crowds adoration. You decide which was which.
