Feliza B. Gonzales
Feliza B. Gonzales of Honolulu, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 12, 2003 at the age of 73.
Born in Piddig Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Oct. 24, 1930, she was retired machine operator with Mail Well Co.
Preceded in death by parents, Donato and Anselma Gonzales. She is survived by brother, Geronimo (Felipa) Gonzales; nephew, Andres Gonzales; six nieces, Lorna (Greg) Cerny, Zenaida (Peter) Tausend, Cornelia (Dan) Works, Mercedes (Eddie) Casticimo, Maria (Vince) Wildermuth and Lovelyn Gonzales; numerous grand nephews, grand nieces and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church; mass officiated by Father Nap will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Mililani Makai Chapel at Mililani Memorial Park; prayer service to begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary and Mililani Memorial Park Mortuary.
Emiko Sato
Emiko Sato of Hilo, died at Hilo Medical Center on Dec. 7, 2003 at the age of 77.
Born in Honaunau on March 15, 1926, she was a retired sales clerk for Hilo Hattie and a member of the Hilo Taishoji Soto Mission.
She is survived by her son, Glenn (Diane) Sato of Kapa’a; three daughters, Ann (Howard) Kawabata of Hilo, Sue (Thomas) Asano of Hilo, Carre Lea (Dexter) Salomon of Waikoloa; brother, Hideharu (Sachiko) Maruzane of Hilo, seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
