Honorio M. Pascual
Honorio M. Pascual of Hanama’ulu, died at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on Nov. 30, 2003 at the age of 77. Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Dec. 15, 1925, he was a seed cutter with Kekaha Sugar.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Piedad Pascual; five children, Fely (Ruben) Lagundino of Hanama’ulu, Edmund (Cora) Pascual of Hanama’ulu, Delia (Henry) Bumagat of Hanapepe, Ruven (Stacy) Pascual of Arizona and Josie (Jaime) Pablo of Kapa’a; grandchildren, Sunshine Pascual, Kathleen Pascual, Ferdinand Lagundino, Jr., Ourigner Lagundino, David Lagundino, Nathan Lagundino, Leah Lagundino-Gaines, Joshua Lagundino, Harold Bumagat, Daniel Bumagat, Ryan Pascual, Chanelle Pascual, Keegan Morin-Pascual, Melissa Pascual, Veronica Pablo and Maegan Pablo; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Kadesha and Tiani Lagundino.
Friends may visit with the family at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church; funeral mass officiated by Father Joe will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation also at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; farewell prayer at 10:30 a.m. Followed by burial at the Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.

Barton Nagata
Barton H. Nagata of Lihu’e, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 7, 2003 at the age of 85.
Born in Kahului, Maui on March 20, 1918, he was a retired District Superintendent with the state Department of Education.
He is survived by wife, Toshie T. Nagata of Lihu’e; two sons, Keith (Gayle) Nagata of Honolulu and Roy Nagata of Lihu’e; daughter, Cynthia (Wayne) Higashi of Honolulu; three grandchildren; brother, Tsutomu (Fumiko) Nagata of Kahului, Maui.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Lihue Christian Church; service officiated by Pastor James Koyama will begin at 10 a.m. Aloha attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Joyce Ferreiro
Joyce Hamada Ferreiro of Kapa’a, died on Dec. 6, 2003 at the age of 80.
Born in Kapa’a on April 27, 1923, Joyce owned and operated the Joyce’s Sewing School and Dress Shop.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. “Larry” Ferreiro. She is survived by her daughter, MaBel Ferreiro-Fujiuchi (Chief Brian S. Fujiuchi, Ret.) of Kapa’a; son, Francis (Catherine) Ferreiro of Austin, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Lauree (Donnell) Fujiuchi-Porter of Nevada, Sean (Sharon) Ferreiro of California, Charlotte Ferreiro of Texas, Kimberly Ferreiro of Texas, Joseph Ferreiro of Texas; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Christina Porter of Nevada, Gwendlyllian Magdalena Garcia of Texas; two brothers, Robert H. Hamada of Kapa’a, and Hiroshi (Janet) Hamada of Kapa’a.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 12, at St. Catherine’s Church from 1 to 3 p.m. Mass celebrated by Father Jim Orsini at 3 p.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Mary Salvador
Mary Cadvona Salvador of Kilauea passed away on December 6, 2003 at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home in Oma’o at the age of 90.
She was born in Bacara, Ilocos Norte in 1913 and at the tender age of 12 came to Hawai’i with her family.
She is survived by eldest sister, Leoncia, four daughters, Rosalina (Sam) Daoang of O’ahu, Leonora Ponting of Rowland Heights, Calif., Juanita (Mervin) Nunes of Whittier, Calif., and Stella (Scott) Greenleaf of Kapa’a; six sons, William (Jill) Salvador of Walnut, Calif., Benjamin (Irene) Salvador of Rosemont, Calif., Robert (Anita) Salvador of Ontario, Calif., Alberto (Linda) Salvador of Hanama’ulu, Wallace (Alexis) Salvador of O’ahu, and Nelson (Lynn) Salvador of Kilauea; 36 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 12, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kilauea from 8:30 a.m. service to follow at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kilauea Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested.

Candido Salvador
Candido Bereng Salvador of Hanama’ulu, died at his residence on Dec. 4, 2003 at the age of 84.
Born in the Philippines on Aug. 5, 1919, he was an irrigator with Lihu’e Plantation.
He is survived by his caregiver and grandson, Robert Odoya of Hanama’ulu; daughter, Felicidad Odoya of Hanama’ulu; two sons, Filemon Salvador of Hanama’ulu, Rodrigo (Goria) Salvador of the Philippines; two grandsons, two granddaughters, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Dec. 15, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Joe. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.

Teofelo Ibos of ‘Ele’ele died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 4, 2003 at the age of 90.
Born in the Philippines on Oct. 30, 1913, he was an irrigator.
He is survived by wife, Crispina Ibos of ‘Ele’ele; son, Guy Ibos of ‘Ele’ele; two daughters, Trisha Ibos of ‘Ele’ele, Krystie (Mando) Ramos of ‘Ele’ele; two brothers, of Philippines, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 13, at ‘Ele’ele Sacred Hearts Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
