The Kaua’i Soccer Club Eastside Girls U13 came home with the gold after winning the championship at the 10th Annual Mililani 7-A-Side Soccer Tournament recently.
Finishing with a 2-0-1 record in pool play, KSC-East went on to down Da Mana A, 3-1 in the semi-finals to earn a slot against Real Copa for the championship, a game they ended up winning for the gold.
KSC-East opened with a strong showing against Shockers 3, 6-0 before edging past Da Mana B, 2-1 in pool play on Friday. Saturday saw KSC-East’s only tie in the contest as they finished 3-3 against Ka’ula before advancing to the semis.
Players on the KSC—East team include Dominique Bartolo, Stephany Foster, Brandi Gomes, Randy Hudson, Michelle Kato, Kailyn Kealoha, Sanoe Keliinoi, Tiana Kunioka, Kali’a Mayer, Maegan Pablo, Whitney Rowe, Destiny Smith, Lindsey Taylor, Ashlyn Ubongen and Christine Yotsuda.
