Mabel Kugiya
Mabel Chieko Kugiya of Honolulu, died on Nov. 21, 2003 at the age of 88.
Born in Honolulu, she was a retired cashier for Hawaii Newspaper Agency.
She is survived by her son, Barry (Wanda) Kugiya; three daughters, Carolyn Sumida, Gail (Calvin) Murashige, Wendy Sanemitsu; seven brothers, Takeo (Yuriko) Morisato, Sunao (Annie) Morisato, Robert (Eleanor) Morisato, Edward (Fumiko) Morisato, George (Lily) Morisato, David (Barbara) Morisato, Roy (Jane) Morisato; two sisters, Beatrice Yanehiro, Clara Kurata; and six grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary from 5 p.m. Services will begin at 6 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Felix “Da Cat” Campos
Felix “Da Cat” “Campy” Estigoy Campos of Lihu’e, died at his residence on Nov. 13, 2003 at the age of 78.
Born on March 18, 1925 in Hanama’ulu, he was a heavy equipment operator for the Hawaii Laborer Union.
He is survived by his son, Glenn Campos of Waialua, O’ahu; three daughters, Sheila (Darryl) Lavarias of Waialua, O’ahu, Rosemarie/Lok’e Campos of Wailua, Kaua’i; Cynthia (Joe) Campos of Waialua, O’ahu; three sisters, Dalmacia (Eugenio) Silbolboro, of Honolulu, O’ahu, Flora (Paul) Kahaunaele of Wailua; Rosenda (Estanislao) Ancheta of Kealia; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to noon at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church. Mass to begin at noon. A luncheon gathering will be held at the Niumalu Pavilion following the service. Casual attire is suggested.

Elenita Dela Cruz of Kekaha, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Nov. 28, 2003 at the age of 52. She was born in California on April 23, 1951.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Dela Cruz of Kekaha; two brothers, Eric (Bonnie Ann) Dela Cruz of Maui, Nestor (Amalita) Dela Cruz of Las Vegas, Nev.; four nieces and one nephew.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 6 at St. Theresa’s Church from 9 to 10:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Larry. Burial to follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Katherine Viveiros
Katherine (Bukoski) Viveiros died at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home on Nov. 25, 2003 at the age of 95.
Born in Koloa on April 4, 1909, she was a retired nurse.
She is survived by her husband Antone Viveiros of Koloa; one daughter, Claire (David) Follner of California; two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa from 9 to 10 a.m. Mass to follow. Burial to follow at the Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
