The Pop Warner Regional Championship will take place this Saturday, Nov. 29 at Vidinha Stadium when the Koloa Junior PeeWee Packers host the O’ahu Division II squad from Waimanalo.

Other games on the Saturday finale has the Vista Buccaneers JPW from San Diego tangling with the Hanapepe Colts JPW at 10 a.m. to open the day.
The Lihu’e Patriots take on the Northshore Na Ali’i at 2 p.m. with the final game of the season featuring the Kapa’a Steelers taking on the Hanapepe Colts at 4 p.m.
A set of three games highlighted the Annual Charity Bowl which combined teams from Lihu’e and Kapa’a for the Eastside team, while teams from Hanapepe and Kekaha made up the Westside squad.
JPW East Team 13, West Team 12
CiJ Estenzo of the Kapa’a Junior Warriors opened the scorebooks for the East with the extra point by Keanu Estenzo upping the score 7-0.
Brentten Rapozo followed with the East’s second score for the 13-0 Eastside margin at the half.
The West Team broke open with two third quarter scores with Mikeo Rita punching through the end zone, both extra points failing for the 13-12 final score.
PW East 14, West 14
The East, piloted by Trey Shimabukuro, launched an aerial blitz against the West, Joshua Largusa raking in the first TD on the East’s opening drive.
Shimabukuro hit Christian Fort for the extra point.
Dayne Murata’s quickness paid off with a 59-yard TD with Largusa doing the point-after honors for the 14-0 lead that was broken when Jon-Anthony Lumabou of Kekaha hit paydirt.
Lumabou followed through with the PAT for the 14-7 reading that was broken when Kalani Fernandez, also of Kekaha ran into the end zone for the tying TD.
Midgets East 16, West 12
Quinton Nativade of the Kekaha Chargers broke open a 0-0 first quarter stalemate on a 78-yard run.
Brandon Chong of the Kapa’a Vikings answered for the East with 23 seconds showing in the half with the go-ahead kick giving the East an 8-6 lead going into the locker rooms.
Coming out of the half, the East struck again only to have Dawson Okinaka tap paydirt on a 47-yard run in the fourth quarter for the final 16-12 East victory.
