Leeward areas remained dry while temperatures were moderate as the returning trade winds brought welcomed relief from the humidity.
Leafy crops made fair progress recovering from the previous week’s excessive rains.
Spraying for insects and diseases were back on schedule.

Papaya
Kaua‘i orchards made fair progress with light to moderate rainfall while off-island shipments remained moderate.
Sweet Corn
The Kaua‘i crop made good progress. Light shipments were expected and new plantings also progressed well.
Lettuce
Supplies on Kaua‘i were light for local sales.
Fields continued to recover from the previous week’s rain and high humidity. Planting and harvesting were delayed as fields dried out.
