Deblin offers Christmas trees
Approximately 400 to 600 Monterey pine Christmas trees will be available for sale soon.
Bret and Sara Deblin have three acres of land in Kilauea dedicated to growing and offering their trees to the public.
The business has been going for four years and the Deblins’ plan on being open the weekend of Thanksgiving.
“My wife is a Christmas tree nut,” said Bret Deblin. “I decided about four years ago to give this kind of business a shot. That’s basically how it started.”
In the future, the Deblin’s plan on offering incense cedar along with three types of fir trees at the location.

Just Live celebrates blessing
The Just Live, Inc. company held its blessing on Nov. 14 at their Ropes Challenge Course in Puhi.
The business specializes in teambuilding services and experiential learning programs for all people and groups.
Just Live’s 55-foot rock climbing wall was the center of attraction at the blessing.

Keoki’s honors employees
In appreciation of their hard work and commitment, Keoki’s Paradise announced the recipients of its Employee of the Month and Aloha Award for the third quarter of 2003.
The Employee of the Month honors went to Garret Bacarro, line cook, July; Maile Shklov, bookie, relief manager, August; and Rhoyden Labutong, line cook, September.
The company also honored Pele Lauama with the third quarter Aloha Award.
“We take great pleasure in honoring our employees that exceed their normal work duties,” said Keoki’s General Manager Rich Ditmars.
Ohana store opens Tuesday
The Ohana Feed and Storage store opened on Tuesday in Kapa‘a.
The store specializes in retailing and storage rental.

KVB announces annual luncheon
The Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau will hold its annual membership luncheon on Dec. 11 which will begin at noon and will be held at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Resort Po‘ipu Ballroom.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.
The reservation deadline is Dec. 1.
