Claurito Kuaron
Claurito Kuaron, also known as “Bogoy” and “Hanalei” of Kekaha, died at Kaua’i Veterans Memorial Hospital on Nov. 17, 2003 at the age of 79.
Born in Kilauea, Kaua’i on May 10, 1924, he was a retired welder with Pacific Missile Range Facility and also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by sisters, Consolacion “Connie” (Bob) Lowe of Kapa’a and Florence “Babe” (Pat) Acain of Waimea; nine nieces and 11 nephews; numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
Friends may visit with the family 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion; service officiated by Father Larry will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Gladys Mizuo
Gladys Mizuo of Hanapepe, Kaua’i, died Nov. 16 2003, at Mahelona Hospital at the age of 65.
A homemaker, she was born July 12, 1938, in Hanapepe.
She is survived by son Michael (Merna) Murata of Hanapepe and brother Charles (Pam) Mizuo of Oregon.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, Nov 22, at Kapaa United Church of Christ from 9-9:45 a.m. when a memorial service will begin at 10 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
