Aloha lives!
I want to shout out the “Spirit of ALOHA Lives!” One may feel negative or positive about this unbalance on our motu ‘o Kaua‘i. However, my story happens daily, in many ways.
While held up in traffic due to a horrific car accident on Saturday, Oct. 4. My radiator was over heating. I would like to say Mahalo for kokua given me unconditionally.
We did not exchange names but your smiles I will remember. The ohana with extra water, the use of your cell phone Mr. Taxi Man, and the Kupuna Kane, Kupuna Wahine for their mana‘o.
To truly “Live Aloha”, it is the people allowing themselves. Imua Kako Kaua‘i.
Malama each other.
Puanani Eppard,
Lawa‘i
Looking for info on Hawai‘i
My name is David and I am 10 year old. I am in the fifth grade at Treasure Island School in San Francisco, California. We are studying the United States and I choose Hawai‘i.
I would really like to know what it’s like to live in Hawai‘i. I hope some of your readers will write to me. These are some questions that I have about Hawai‘i.
1) Is Hawai‘i beautiful? 2) Is Hawai‘i very hot? 3) Do you have pets? 4) What is one memory you have from when you were my age?
I would really appreciate it if you took the time to answer my letter.
Thank you very much.
