Cory Napoleon, Reid Yoshida and Nathan Concepcion combined to lead the Kapa‘a High School boys bowling team to a 22 – 37 – 2206 win over Kaua‘i High School on Saturday, but the effort fell short as the Red Raiders locked up the KIF title with a season cumulative 4.50 points over Kapa‘a’s 0.5 point total.
High game honors went to Kaua‘i’s Jesse Duarte (195, 209, 194) and Waimea’s Beau Ramos (191).
Noelle Campos led the Kaua‘i High School girls to an easy win Saturday, finishing with a 474 pin count as Kaua‘i took a 2068-1939 win over Kapa‘a.
Waimea trailed 23 pins back at 1916.
The Kaua‘i girls team finished the season with a 6.0 cumulative total, soaring past Kapa‘a and Waimea for the KIF title.
High game honors went to Kaua‘i’s Campos with 187 followed by Megan Mukai of Waimea with 184.
