A 24-year-old Kekaha man died as a result of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle motorcycle mishap Wednesday morning.
According to Kaua’i Police Department officials, they received a report of a single motorcycle vehicle mishap on Halewili Road, in the vicinity of the Kaua’i Coffee Company Visitor Center in Kalaheo at 7:33 a.m.
The male rider was transported to the Kaua’i Veterans Memorial Hospital where he later died, said Cyndi Mei Ozaki, county spokeswoman.
