Pedro Caberto of New York City, formerly of Kaumakani, died in New York on Oct. 22, 2003 at the age of 96.
Born in Cagayungan Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Retired from Olokele Sugar Co.
Survived by two sons: Robert “Bobby” (Nelda) Caberto of Long Island, N.Y.; and Juan (Brenda) Caberto of Manhattan, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie (Ines) Caberto of California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; rosary to begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kaumakani; mass officiated by Father Larry will begin at 10 a.m., followed by burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
