HONOLULU — Chun Yi Lin had 16 kills to lead Brigham Young University – Hawai‘i over Chaminade for the second night in a row Saturday, 30 – 18, 30 – 28, 30 – 27.
Silvia Oliveira also reached double figures in kills for the Seasiders with 14. Oliveira also led the team with 16 digs and a pair of service aces.
Libero Federica Tonon dug up 13 Chaminade attacks and All-American Yu Chuan Weng got 12 digs.
BYU-Hawai‘i setter Kaala Lo dished up 50 assists and came through with 11 digs in the match. Kahala Kabalis led the Silverswords with 14 kills and was the only one in double figures for Chaminade.
Deeann Nahale led the way in digs with 13 and Valasi Sepulona added ten.
