The Koloa-Kalaheo Pop Warner football and cheerleader team is holding its first Halloween haunted house.
The haunted house event is also featuring a mini-carnival and a trunk-n-treat distribution of Halloween goodies from the trunks of cars, and a Halloween costume contest for children of all ages.
The event is being held at the Koloa Ball Park Pavilion from 6-10 p.m. on Halloween night.
Parents who want to give out candies should be at the park by 4:30 p.m. as the side of the park where trick or treating is to take place will be closed off to traffic. Parents will be passing out treats from the trunks of their vehicles as kids go trunk-n-treating from car to car.
The best decorated vehicle will win a prize.
The public is asked to park in the regular baseball parking lot.
There will also be live entertainment and a food booth near the haunted house.
