Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey.
West Kauai Medical Center/KVMH has earned COLA accreditation as a result of a long-term commitment to provide quality service to their patients.
West Kauai Medical Center/KVMH is Kauai’s Critical Access Hospital in Waimea providing 24 hour emergency services, Family Birth Center, General and Specialty Surgery, Intensive and Acute Care, Radiology (CT Scan, General and Specialty Ultrasound, Mammography, X-ray), Laboratory, Rehabilitation therapies, Long Term Care, and physician clinic services.
