Lorenzo Sagucio
Lorenzo Sagucio of Kalaheo died at home on Sept. 23, 2003, at the age of 92.
Born Aug. 8, 1911, in Lanao, Bangui Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired irrigator engineer with Olokele Sugar Co.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina Fayloga Sagucio; one daughter, Esperanza (Orlino Sr.) Antolin; five grandchildren: Oriente Nakaahiki, Rosaly (Frank) Domenden, Leoni (Alan) Texeira, Orlino (Ivy) Antolin Jr. and Imelda (Paul) Delos Reyes; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers: Justo (Marcelis) Sagucio of the Philippines and Asuncion (Josefina Sagucio of Kekaha; two sisters, Maria Francisco Vidad and Trinidad de Asis of the Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Oct. 10, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 – 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, Oct. 11, at St. John’s Episcopalian Church in ‘Ele‘ele from 8 – 9:45 a.m. where services will be at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested.
