Shame on you!
I have a couple of things that I would like people to know that use Olohena and Kaapuni Roads. SHAME ON YOU who take advantage of the sides of these roads for your personal rubbish dump. You go to a fast food drive thru, eat your meals while in your car and when you are done, you just carelessly toss your trash on the side of the road. Some of you just toss your beverage cans and any other trash out of your car window, instead of taking it home and putting it in the proper receptacle. Why is it so hard to hang on to your trash until you get home and throw it into your trash can.
Mrs. Debbie has been picking up the opala that you thoughtlessly toss outside of your car for years now. She was doing just that a few days ago, but when you drive up or down these roads, you wouldn’t think that she has done anything at all. But she will be out there again to pick up your trash. We should be proactive and not litter.
This is not the GARBAGE ISLAND! SHAME ON YOU!!
When I was at the Wailua Homesteads park for a soccer game recently, I was so disappointed to see graffiti was spray painted on the restroom walls. Its so shameful that some people can be so inconsiderate of “public property.” This just another example of the lack of respect for our island and its facilities. SHAME ON YOU!!
