Fusae Hayashi
Fusae Hayashi of Kekaha, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Sept. 21, 2003 at the age of 80.
Born in Waimea, on May 25, 1923, she was a Retired Salesperson with T.T. Kuramoto Store.
She is survived by son, Craig (Lynn) Hayashi of Hanapepe; two daughters, Kathleen (Glenn) Yamamoto of Hanapepe and Sarah (Raymond) Young of Lihu‘e; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the ‘Ele‘ele Baptist Church; service at 5 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Albert Dinnan
Albert Dinnan of Anahola died Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 18, 2003 at the age of 53.
Born in North Carolina, Sept. 17, 1950 he was a self employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Dinnan of Anahola; daughter, Chelsea Dinnan of Anahola; son, Ethan Dinnan of Anahola; parents, Raymond Dinnan of Anaheim, California and Concepcion Bello Dinnan of Kilauea; four brothers, Raymond Dinnan Jr. of Honolulu, Louis (Valerie) Dinnan of Yuma, Arizona, Steven Dinnan of Kilauea, Sean (Daphne) Dinnan of Punalu‘u; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at St. Catherine’s Church from 2 – 3 p.m. Funeral mass will begin at 3 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Larry Ishida
Larry Fukuto Ishida of Honolulu, died at Queen’s Medical Center on Sept. 13, 2003 at the age of 81.
Born in Lihu‘e, he was a retired communications technician for U.S. Government (U.S. Navy and U.S. Army COMSAT) and member of Headquarters Co., 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
He is survived by his wife, Violet Tsuyuko Ishida; brother, Clarence (Hanako) Ishida of Kapa‘a; sister, Nora Takenouchi of Kapa‘a; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Sept. 25, 10 a.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; visitation from 9 a.m.
Aloha attire is suggested and flowers omitted. Donations may be made to COMSAT (Communications Satellite Corp.)

Kenneth Date
Kenneth Kazumi Date of Hanalei died on Sept. 19, 2003 at the age of 63.
Born in Honolulu on March 13, 1940, he retired from the US Army in 1992 as a Full Colonel. He served for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Date of Hanalei; two sons, Daniel Date of Honolulu, Tom (Donna) Date of Newport Beach, California; two sisters, Marian (Shinichi) Tsutsui of Kane‘ohe, Barbara (Nathan) Yoshioka of Kailua; brother, Stan (Diane) Date of Northridge, California; grand-daughter, Taylor Date of Honolulu.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Sept. 26, at Fort DeRussey, Honolulu. Visitation from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in National Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire is suggested.

Gilbert Nagahiro
Gilbert Masao Nagahiro of Kauai, died at Hale Ho Aloha on September 4, 2003 at the age of 97.
Born in Yamaguchi, Japan, he was a retired manager for American Can Co.
He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko Nagahiro; son, Ken (Cha Ryun) Nagahiro; two daughters, Jean (Harry) Wong, Janet (Kenneth) Ono; brother, Teruto (Edith) Nagahiro; sister, Kiyoko Nagahiro; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held.
